About Us

Edge Entertainment specializes in the production of original film and TV content and offers premiere production services. Headquartered in Sault Ste. Marie, founders Rosalia Chilelli and Jennifer Pun are experts in the Canadian Film and TV industry, having serviced 25+ productions and generated $62M+ for the Northern Ontario region. Edge’s operations in Toronto, San Diego and Isla Mujeres, MX broadens the company’s international reach.

Rosalie and Jennifer share an inspired vision about the diversity of voices in this country, and others, and the opportunities awaiting them in the television and digital medium.

Rosalia Chilelli

Producer & Co-Founder

Founder An award-winning producer and co-founder of Edge Entertainment, Rosalia Chilelli has produced critically acclaimed films including Robert Eggers’ THE WITCH, Atom Egoyan’s REMEMBER, Keith Behrman’s GIANT LITTLE ONES, the cult horror THE VOID, and Nathan Morlando’s Cannes premiere MEAN DREAMS, starring Bill Paxton. Most recently she produced the Netflix Top 10 film, CASCADE, starring Sara Waisglass.

A seasoned producer known for her steadfast values, leadership and inclusion Rosalia is also driven by a passion for fostering arts and culture in communities.  Under her guidance, Edge has emerged as a hub for production in Northern Ontario where she continues to champion local talent development. Her work with Garden River First Nation led to the creation of the first film training initiative that resulted in employment for community members on two major features. She remains an active advisor to Sault College as well as White Pines High School as they develop and implement the first high school film program in Sault Ste. Marie.

In partnership with Producer Jennifer Pun, they have built a slate of both Canadian and International projects that honour their vision to tell powerful and impactful stories through film and television while facilitating economic development and creating diverse film communities.

Producer of award-winning series HOW TO BE INDIE and CONNOR UNDERCOVER and Canadian Screen Award nominated FALL, cult classic THE VOID, and Netflix top ten CASCADE, among others. A sought after production and business affairs consultant, Jennifer has worked on projects including Oscar nominated director Hubert Davis’ THE WELL, SIMULANT (starring Simu Liu), WANDER (starring Tommy Lee Jones), and Paw Patrol. Prior to this, Jennifer held management positions at Heroic Films and Capri Films and was the recipient of an executive development internship at Shaftesbury Films (LA) through the Bell Media Executive Producer Accelerator Lab. She holds an MBA from Ivey Business School and MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Jen Barbeau

Jennifer Barbeau

Coordinator: Casting & Locations

Jennifer Barbeau has been an integral part of Edge Entertainment since 2010. Over the past 15 years, she has contributed her talents in casting and location scouting to over twenty-three projects across feature film, television, and music video productions. In addition to her work in the film industry, Jennifer brings 25 years of experience as an educator and 10 years as a school administrator with the Algoma District School Board in Sault Ste. Marie.
Her background in educational leadership enriches her work at Edge. As a seasoned administrator, Jennifer has honed key competencies such as building relationships, developing people, setting direction, and improving overall organization—skills that seamlessly translate into the fast-paced, collaborative environment of film production. Her ability to manage complex schedules, coordinate diverse teams, lead with equity, inclusion and reconciliation, and maintain strong communication across stakeholders makes her a valuable asset in roles such as production liaison, casting support, and location scouting.
Jennifer’s entrepreneurial mindset, combined with her organizational precision and community knowledge, allows her to identify unique filming locations and talent while ensuring logistics run smoothly from pre-production through to wrap.

Jon MacFarlane

Location Scout

Jon MacFarlane provides support to Edge Entertainment as a location scout, local guide and photographer. His military and wild life background makes him an invaluable asset to the team.  He is also a member of the Sault Ste Marie Professional Firefighters.
